Maclaren Stroller Recall: Parents, Take Our Poll
POLL: Have you remembered Maclaren Stroller?
Maclaren stroller is recalling one million cars, produced between 1999 and 2009. The Maclaren stroller recall comes in response to 12 reports of children who have their fingertips amputated when they were caught in the stroller and hinges.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Maclaren has notified all Maclaren dealers of the recall, as a technical take effect Tuesday, November 10.
For parents, this type of baby stroller recalls his worst nightmare.
"I trust these baby companies to developing products to keep children safe, not endanger them, "says Mama Amber Smith, 27, Louisville, Kentucky. "I can not believe that so many children had to be wound before they realized this was a problem, "she said in an interview.
If you have a Maclaren stroller, here is what you can do to ensure the child's safety:
1. Stop using Maclaren stroller. Parents should avoid using all cars manufactured since 1999.
2. Go to the Maclaren website or call their customer service department To get a free cover sent to you.
3. Avoid using carriage to receive the cover of the record. Keep up to date with the Maclaren stroller recall.
The CPSC recommends that all parents keep their children away from cars when they are foldable and unfolds to reduce the risk of squeezing fingers. Make sure the cart is completely locked when you have deployed it. A partially open pram can easily pinch your child's fingertips, resulting in accidents such as the set of Maclaren Stroller Recall.
There is also a good idea to always buy Strollers new and returning the warranty card so you can be notified when recalls, for example, Maclaren Stroller Recall, takes place.
