Child Car Seat Covers
anyone know how to stop a child escaping from a car seat
my 1 year old son keeps opening his harness on his car seat and escaping is there anything you can buy to cover the catch to stop him opening it
tried the velco but it didnt work so i went and bought a new carseat with a push in button rather than a push down button so far he hasnt managed to get out of it. thanks for all your answers
My son does the same thing (he's 20 months) although he wriggles his arms out of the straps!
You might need to get a car seat with a tougher catch, my son isn't able to open the catch on his, but the straps are just quite loose and its hard to get them really tight so he can slip his arms out.
Failing that, strap him in tightly so he can't reach down to the catch, or put mittens on him when you're in the car!!!
