Strollers for Twins Canada

strollers for twins canada

Wake up, America!

Let's get real. Forget all Gobbledegook about foreign oil fields peak and the rapid increase in global consumption ...

1. Oil production in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Mexico, Russia, has either peaked, or it has not been reached. (Think about that each of these countries have poor records on benevolent treatment of its own people - so why should their attitude to others be different? I say that you are not going to get the truth about how much oil any or them have left the ground, or how much oil they are able to produce over a given period of time. Neither of these producing countries to give a hoot about your creature comforts or harmful effects on your wallet)

2. Indonesian oil has undoubtedly reached. OPEC has just kicked them out of their organization as a "producer". They are now a net importer - Once a great producer, reduced to beggaring for their oil ... a bit like you and me.

3. Brazil, in addition to refining ethanol from sugar cane, has a large off-shore The discovery called Tupi. There are large (50 billion barrels). It is deep, 2 miles down and locked in rock. With oil at $ 138 a barrel, $ 100 billion funding to package will be forthcoming. It does not come cheap.

4. Russian oil and gas, lots of it at the moment, but they do not love us more than the Arabs do. And the Russia's record of loyalty, truth and fair play is about as weak as others. Forget them as a reliable supply source.

5. It is given that India and China imports almost all its oil needs and is currently a growing demand inspired by a 2 billion + citizenry.

6. Bakken, on American soil in South Dakota, is 2 miles deep and locked in thin layers of dolomite. At 413 billion barrels, it is potentially larger than the Saudi Ghawar Field. Horizontal fracking of complex layers of rock to free petroleum industry will definitely make it expensive. Rising oil prices pushing the field toward a development considered. Again, this oil will not be cheap.

7. How much faith do you have on the U.S. oil company that gives you the honest truth about something, but oil production and consumption statistics? If you're anything like men - zero!

Now let us turn, in our minds numbed, some simple thoughts on oil and our daily life here in these great United States.

1. Why are pump prices, state to state, pump to pump, varying only a dime or so - a from the other? (Can you remember a time when there was a free market in gasoline ... when there were gas wars and deals to see, a gas station to gas station? Believe it or not, when I was small, it was a fact.)

The U.S. Congress will solve the problem.

2. Did you see the last Congressional charade, where the oil company execs were interrogated, presumedly, by his own loyal subjects? (You will be pardoned for the suspicion that almost every Congressman profits from gifts given by the oil industry lobbyists and / or contributions to their PAC.)

3. Did you hear Congress raising a hue and cry about sue SAUDI ARABIA by withholding oil production? Yes? And last week, Congress had intended to get to the bottom in Oil Speculation ... the bad "speculators" who have driven oil prices higher ...

Is not it great that the price of oil immediately fell - dignifying the Congress. I retired to my bed, happy and relieved. Finally, lower oil prices! Hmm ... just give the oil boys a day or two ....

Ok, while we are individually suffer a collapse of house prices, together with our family budgets, is the major oil companies are making BILLIONS and billions in obscene (reportable) profit. How much more are they hiding?

Hunnh? ..

1. Where is Congress on? Why are we collecting terrible personal and national debt, while big oil companies are allowed to accumulate Other organizations?

(Oh, yes ... now I remember - it's the NIMBY tree huggers. They have stopped all new refineries are being built, all offshore drilling from the forecast.)

What about a national energy policy?

1. Hunnh? ... We have a - ethanol. It's a dandy ... that costs more in fuel to boil a liter ethanol than it saves by burning the car's engine. It throws carbon to the atmosphere during its production and provides less mileage per gallon than a gallon of diesel or gasoline. Worst of everything, it has thrown many square miles of Midwest ag. land out of soybeans and grain production (in favor of grain to ethanol production) and thus create a monumental shortage of grain for animal feed, raising chicken and beef prices. And the lost acreage shrinking grain production, raise the bread and cereal prices in the grocery store.

And just to be sure of some of this cheap Brazilian ($ 40/barrel) sugar-cane ethanol comes to our coasts, Congress struck one 54 cents / a / gallon tariff on it some time ago in a U.S. farm bill ... note that the cast-off sugar cane stalks feed Brazilian electric power plants.

Stay with me a little longer on our (invisible) national energy policy. And forget drilling more oil. (Let us assume the oil industry hasten his own death.)

2. Reactor fuel (uranium) is cheap and my comfortable in the United States and Canada. Believes that 80% of French electrical production is nuclear, and so far no accidents. Why have we not moved forward with more nuclear (no atmospheric pollution) electric production? There are tree huggers and Greenpeace, they tell us ...

3. Why have we neglected public bus, tram and rail transport?

. (See Japan for nationwide 200 mph trains.)

4. The other night on TV, I observed a $ 27,000 bug-like car that provably carried two people 300 miles on one gallon of gas, with speeds up to 90 miles per hour and had incredible acceleration from a standing start.

DETROIT, HOW can you be?
(Too busy building Hummer ...)

5. Hats off to the bustling Detroiter who over the years, bought up the patents that would advance more fuel-efficient carburation and develop super-storage batteries for electric vehicles - as set on these patents.

6. What about the conversion of natural gas to fuel - why is the industry invisible?

7. Coal gasification and coal to fuel? The Chinese is in it. The Germans fueled his WWII efforts with petroleum derived from coal.

On the nightly TV, you can observe a large industry will disappear before your eyes:

Airlines ...

1. Loose regulation paves the way for the chaotic conditions of the manned flight control centers and airport control towers. For many new operators; too many liner, ramp accidents and air-misses.

2. Free food is reduced to snacks; seats jammed to the max. Nevertheless, running the public to book cheap Flights - bound to each location on the globe.

3. Loose regulation of maintenance procedures, travel some questions. Aircraft and Airframe security quiet, but surely, nosedive.

4. Annual fuel costs jump to an industry total of $ 65 billion, squeezing profits and tripling fares, passengers hesitates. Airlines fight back, cutting out snacks, paid for storage, on-the-spot to cancel the flights are not filled. Passengers search the Web for last minute price cuts the lines trying to fill the vacant 100%; come at the airport to find space and flight canceled - line just gone bankrupt. No one wants to hear about the wheel that fell off the baby stroller ... customer rage. Surt against people. Smoldering pilots and crews ...

At the risk of running out of the end of the runway - the final blast ... Have we, in America, been completely dormant at the hucksters on Madison Avenue?

In 1950, Madison Avenue was held in the sort of reverence later aimed at Silicon Valley and our various bubbles - technology, housing and, most recently, commodities. Lusting for financial gain, we have ignored the transmission of the advertising industry Wiles to businesses, the Washington think tanks, lobbyist groups, Congress - Permian eating even the inner circles of the White House administrations ... absorbed so beautiful that we have been quite shocked to sleep in comfortable cradles of SPIN.

Is it possible that our leaders have blinded themselves with their own spin? Twin relief now for us - the energy and credit. Busy coddling an industry after another, our leaders blatantly ignored preparations to combat such crises.

"Industry will govern itself perfectly," has been the cry of regulators, la fox guard the chicken house. And the results: Bear Stearns; clutter gas pump; airline chaos, sub-prime housing and credit markets collapse, with its ugly offshoot - the yet to be felt trillion dollar derivative Phantasia.

Why can not we, ALL OF U.S., take two weeks off from work? Stop driving! Stop flying! Stop shopping! Live on what you have in your closet ... take a walk around your community ... shake hands with the neighbors ... go to church or temple and volunteers for three days with something that will benefit anyone other than yourself. How bad can that be if we all declare allegiance to one another, our flag and our country? (Do not forget, we have boys and girls in Iraq makes it just that ...)
