Maclaren twin triumph wagon for a newborn?
I got a Maclaren twin triumph stroller. I'm due in February when my daughter will be 21 months old. I wonder if it will be suitable for my newborn? I know it does not fully rest and is intended to take a newborn for sure, but on the practical side, how the infant strapped in? Is there any kind of carrycot that fits into it? Would it be comfortable?
My best friend was pregnant a few months back, so I had been responsible for some things since then, and one of them is the stroller shopper. So to be geek that I am I did a full research of the best pushchairs - so much so that I swear stroller companies can now hire me as an infomercial host, and I am doing really well! lol Anyway, to answer your question my dear, that actually the Maclaren Triumph is not suitable for newborns. It may rest on more than 150 degrees, but it is only suitable from 3 months onwards, according to the manufacturer, but I personally inspected roll and I would not put a child in there who could not sit properly on its own yet. Do not get me wrong - I think Triumph is one of the best strollers around, but it is best for children from 6 months onwards, in my opinion. The Maclaren Triumph is a light wagon, not a busy system, thus not carrycots will match it. If you want a stroller that can be used from birth until the child is 3 or 4 years, your best bet is to buy a stroller that you can convert to a stroller / pram and travel system.
