Stroller Buntings
How old was your child when you first took her (or him) out? Just a walk, to be out in 30 minutes?
What specific steps did you take? I is much more "outside" now than I was 13 years ago when my 1st child was born. My neighborhood is optimal for walking, running, strolling or without the baby. Moreover, what is the hottest / / coldest temps that you take the child out of? I have a jogging stroller, baby Bunting, coats, hats and a baby "Bundle Me" Bunting for cool / cold weather. I had to start taking my babies out as soon as they were born. They must go with you when you take them to the DR. My husband had to go back to work after they were born, and I had to do everything I did before (shopping errands, etc.). They are babies, and usually do much to sleep anyway. They do not mind as long as you feed them and change them ... take care of their needs when they arise. As far as temperature goes .... listen to them ..... they will let you know if they are not comfortable. Check them and make sure they are not too hot, and try to remove some clothing. In cold weather keep them gathered up and continue to keep a check on them and make sure they "feel" okay. Keep the wind of them. They can pretty much accept what we accept, under certain circumstances. I do take the baby out to give him a love of the outdoors! Both of mine go out every chance they get! Good Luck!
