Stroller Baby Trend Expedition
Has anyone had any problems with the Baby Trend jogging stroller, which the front wheel frame comes from?
I bought the Baby Trend Jet Expedition LX wagon for Babies r us a little over 3 months ago and had few problems with the front wheel shakes as it does not want to close it all on one page. I had a wheel problem solved (or so I thought) until this weekend when the front wheel frame shakes where it attaches to the main frame. When I took fotbrettet by to see what the problem was the wheel housing sealing device was loose and came out with the front wheel and broke on my floor in all parts of the plates, bearings, etc. Of course I could not return it to the store because it was directly over 90-day return policy, so I called Baby Trend customer service. The part only happens to be "out of stock". I can not understand that since it is an important part of to build new strollers. Has anyone else owned this wagon or a similar one from Baby Trend had the same problem or any problems with their customer service? Just wondering if they are BS-ing me.
Like most products, it also depends on the quality and durability of the item. Much of the wheels are made of plastic and rubber. Over time, if these are used much, they are likely to fall off from wear. Sounds like the stroller was not put together properly, or is a defective product. ToysRUs and BabiesRUs usually post recalled items, see if there is a recall of Baby Trend Stroller. I will also check the ratings of cars before buying them, just like a machine or something you'll use quite often.
