Joovy, a stroller manufacturer from Dallas Texas, is known for creating innovative cars that are light in weight and heavy in features. They use aircraft-grade aluminum all tubes for all their stroller frames and they use modern rip-stop nylon material for their stroller seats and canopies.
Empty that we review today is the caboose carriage from Joovy. The caboose is built for two children and is quite unique in that for a double stroller, it is quite compact which makes it a highly maneuverable stroller. The Joovy caboose carriage is actually a pram and a half. Rear seat is a rear-facing jump seat that folds up and out of the way so that a child 2 ½ years or older can be left "on the rear platform. There are two padded handles which is ideally located on the back standing passengers - so that young people can stay on and be safe and ride.
The Joovy caboose stroller is not for every family. If you have two children the same age you will encounter a difficult peacekeeping challenge ... decide who will stand and who has to ride. However, if you have children who is about 2 to 3 years apart and that each weigh less than 45 pounds, you will love this wagon. Your younger children can sit safely in advance while the youth can choose to either sit or stand behind the wagon.
The caboose stroller has some great features. Front seat can accommodate many types of infant car seats so you can start using the caboose cart as your "little" is very young. Front seat has two positions relining, a child tray with cup holders and seat also sports a 5-point harness. Your child will definitely be both safe and comfortable in the caboose stroller.
Earlier I mentioned the rear jump seat ... on the rear passenger's safety, there is a 3-point harness for seated children, and it is a non-skid surface on the platform for standing child.
It is a great canopy for caboose stroller's front seat passenger. Canopy provides good protection for children from direct sunlight and wind. Canopy can be removed to maximize visibility. Joovy using rip-stop material that will last a long time - you are the stroller will look and run great in the years to come. In addition the Joovy reflective material in the canopy that will help you to be seen as a walk after dark.
Parents with multiple children know all too well that to get the young family out and about, you have to bear much of the equipment. The caboose stroller solves this problem in two ways. First caboose has an extra large storage basket where you can easily store a diaper bag, groceries, etc. Secondly, the caboose stroller folds up quite easily in a compact form factor. The folded dimensions are 10.5 "x 24" x 43 ", which means that the caboose stroller will probably fit in the car's trunk or in your minivan with no problems.
Because caboose carriage is compact, because it weighs only 26 pounds, and because it has swivel wheels that are built with sealed bearings, you and your child will get a very smooth ride. The dimensions of the folded wagon is 41.5 "x 21.5" x 38 ".
The stroller Shop recommends caboose stroller for families with young children. I wish I knew about this Empty when my daughter was young. I do not have more children but both my daughter and I would have loved to sit and stand options. The caboose stroller actually makes walking fun.
