Bassinet Stroller Combo
What is the best Graco Stroller / carseat combo?
I'm expecting my first child in about 6 weeks, and I am looking for a good stroller. I want to get a Graco stroller / car seat combo, however, to see through all the different models, I'm not sure which to choose? For those of you who have them, what is your experience and what would you recommend? Also most of the things we are new as crib bassinet ect. but I wonder if there is a fine to get the other hand, if it appears in very good condition, or it would be better to go new for security reasons?
You should definitely get a new car seat unless you know the person who used it very well. If the car seat has been involved in an accident, its security is compromised. A used stroller does not pose any health risk, but as long as it is in good condition. I have Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe (I think that's what it's called) in G Galore pattern. I absolutely love it! We chose this because our daughter's name was Gwendalyn (G), and it suited our other items. It was the best though! The car seat that comes with the combo is sure Seat, which has a higher weight limit than Graco's Snug Ride, and is slightly larger. Seems more comfortable for me! Empty is fantastic! She is almost 18 months old now, so it will not work this year, but last year we were on the baseball field almost every night of the week between practices and games to her two older siblings. I will put the seat back flat, put up the "boot" (used to turn it into a kind of carriage for a newborn) and she would sit back, as if it were a mini playground gate, and play with their toys. We still use the cart now, but we can not use it as a play pen. It is still comfortable for her. Curve is large, the much extra storage options (cupholder, caddy for keys / phone, etc). I can throw it with one hand. The pattern is nice because it's dark, but not black-juice stains and such do not show up as bad as they would on a black or bright fabrics. It does come in other patterns, but besides G Galore.
