Tandem Strollers? (Especially Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller)?
I'm looking for an easy to manage, good quality, safe and durable tandem stroller in Victoria, Australia. I like the look of the Graco Quattro Duo ... Has anyone had experience with the pram? Any overall assessment would be great, and in particular: Is easy to govern? Does it last? Is it good for long distance? (I do not drive so we walk everywhere) Any set backs? Do you recommend any other tandem trailers? Some advice will be appreciated! Thank you
I have no good answer to twins (except that while they are young a double snap-and-go cart is a must), but if you have two different ages, I have a Phil and Teds E3 (the newer model, called Sport), and I love it! I used it for my son as a single, took the child for a walk with the whole flat (as a pram) yesterday with a second place at the top for toddlers me to jump in when he was tired of walking, and used it today for my toddler and a friend's toddler. I love the flexibility, snaps the other seat on and off easily, and it all fits in very little storage space on my car. When in use, there is no greater or wider than a single stroller and is great for manuvering through the shops and crowds. On the negative side, I wish it had a bigger basket ... if you plan to use it for shopping, you need to buy Panni bags. It is also quite expensive, but it keeps the resale value.
